From August 26-28, 2016, Skyland’s own Kay Anderson will be wearing a different hat than the one she usually wears during summer camp season – that of equine coach and facilitator. Skyland’s beloved herd of horses will take on a new role too: helping humans connect to the heart-centered energy of horse and, in the process, expand their consciousness levels, increase emotional intelligence and connect with all of humanity it bold new ways.
For three days, Skyland will host its flagship equine facilitated learning workshop …
“Discover the Possibilities: When Inner Wisdom, Horse Wisdom, and your True Self Connect”
Equine facilitated learning (EFL) programs are non-riding programs that allow participants to be present to and learn from the unique energy that horses provide. “Horses serve as mirrors to what’s inside of us,” Anderson says. “They are sentient beings, constantly sensing the energies of their environment.”
What can humans learn from this? Working with horses helps us to operate from a space of heart and authenticity and to leave behind the racing thoughts of our busy minds that so typify modern life. “Horses read intention and emotion.” Anderson explains. “When we experience how horses respond to the energies in our bodies, it can radically transform how we behave in the workplace, in our partnerships, and in life.”
During this personal growth workshop, highly-trained facilitators and high-sensing horses will guide clients through groundbreaking personal and professional discoveries.
