Mother-Daughter Camp at Skyland is about enjoying the little, but super powerful and memorable, moments together – like chasing fireflies, playing freeze tag, roasting marshmallows, and riding a horse for the first time. Let us do the planning and the cooking while you and your daughter play together in the mountains.

ACTIVITIES & SCHEDULE

A mix of mom-and-daughter activities is complemented with moms-only and daughters-only activities so that moms and daughters all get to experience the thrill of trying new things and building friendships.

SKYLAND HOSPITALITY

At Skyland, you will be spoiled with delicious meals, cozy and comfortable sleeping arrangements, and a schedule that is crafted for you, all while enjoying the simple pleasures in life.

During registration, you will choose your preferred lodging type. A deposit is required at the time of registration and all payments are due by May 1st. See below for more information on rates.

LODGING CHOICES:

Shared Cabin

Cabins sleep a total of 10-12 campers. You will sleep in bunk beds on the screened-in sleeping porch of a cabin with fellow campers. Each cabin has a sleeping porch, living room, and a bathroom with a shower. This is the quintessential summer camp experience!

Shared Cabin Rates:
Ages 6-10: $950 per camper
Ages 8-14: $1,220 per camper
$400 deposit due at registration

Private Room

You will stay in a private room on the second floor of the Lodge. Private rooms contain comfortable twin beds with cozy linens, shelving for your belongings, and shared bathrooms and showers. Rooms can accommodate 2, 3, or 4 campers.

Private Room Rates:
Ages 6-10: $1,100 per camper
Ages 8-14: $1,370 per camper
$400 deposit due at registration

Private Cabin

Large groups can rent an entire cabin for just their group! A private cabin sleeps up to 10 campers on bunk beds on the screened-in sleeping porch. Each private cabin has its own living room and bathroom with a shower.

To reserve a private cabin, one member of your group chooses and pays for the cabin at the time of registration. All other members of the group will chose “My Lodging is Reserved” and will not be charged at registration.

Private Cabin Rates:
Ages 6-10: $950 per camper ($9,500 total)
Ages 8-14: $1,220 per camper ($12,200 total)
$1,000 deposit due at registration

The Ranch House

The Ranch House is a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house on camp that sleeps up to 6 campers on 4 twin beds and 1 king bed. The Ranch House includes a full kitchen and living room, A/C, Wi-Fi, and two private porches.

To reserve The Ranch House, one member of your group chooses and pays for the house at the time of registration. All other members of the group will chose “My Lodging is Reserved” and will not be charged at registration.

The Ranch House Rates:
Ages 6-10: $1,250 per camper ($7,500 total)
Ages 8-14: $1,620 per camper ($9,720 total)
$1,250 deposit due at registration

 

FAQ’s

What should we pack?
Linens and towels will be provided, so you will only need to pack your daily essentials. We will send a welcome packet, including a full packing list, to all participants in the Spring.

What if we’ve never been to camp before?
Wonderful! While some campers may have experienced Skyland before, many moms and daughters will be new to camp too! You will have an amazing time and will make new friends and memories with your daughter/ mother.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Skyland can accommodate most dietary restrictions with advance notice. We will ask for your dietary restrictions after registration. If you or your daughter have a severe food allergy, please let us know so we can discuss how to best serve you.

What is your cancellation policy?
The required​ ​deposit is due at the time of registration.

  • Prior to February 1, the deposit, less a $200 processing fee, is refundable
  • After February 1, the deposit is non-refundable
  • The balance of camp tuition is due on or before May 1
  • After May 1, no refunds will be issued
  • Should you need to cancel after May 1 for a family emergency or a medical emergency, we will give full credit toward the following year’s registration, minus the $200 processing fee. Medical emergencies must be confirmed in writing by a physician.
