WHAT TO EXPECT…
Mother-Daughter Camp is all about making memories together while being goofy and having fun! Moms and daughters spend half of the day in activities together and half of the day going to activities with peers close to their own age. Everyone leaves camp with great memories, big smiles, and lots of new friends.
Don’t be fooled by the name – “Mother-Daughter” also includes grandmothers, aunts, nieces, and cousins too!
HIGHLIGHTS ARE MANY! EXPECT TO:
- Participate in classic camp activities, guided by Skyland staff
- Relax and unplug while surrounded by nature
- Enjoy delicious, home-cooked meals, including nightly s’mores

Activities are specially crafted for campers of all ages and are led by expert counselors. We encourage campers to try something new while at camp – it might just lead to a new lifelong hobby! From archery to horseback riding to swimming to crafts – there’s an activity for everyone at Skyland.

CAMP LIFE
In a camp environment, with limited technology, we tend to find powerful connections. Camper life at Skyland is about enjoying the little, but super powerful and memorable, moments – like chasing fireflies, playing freeze tag, roasting marshmallows, and riding a horse for the first time.

MEALS
Skyland’s meals are definitely NOT your average camp food! Our kitchen has been serving homemade and delicious family-style meals for more than 100 years. We can accommodate most dietary restrictions with advance notice.
LODGING OPTIONS
Choose the lodging option that is best for your family! From our rustic cabins to the luxurious Ranch House, you will sleep in comfort at Skyland.
Check out our suggestions based on group size below:
BEST FOR PAIRS (2 campers)
A Room in The Lodge is perfect for a mother-daughter pair. Your room will include 2 single beds, a private sitting area on the screened-in porch, and shared bathrooms. A Shared Cabin is another great option for pairs who are ready to make new friends! You will be placed in a cabin with fellow campers. There will be 4-6 campers per cabin. Beds are placed on the screened-in sleeping porch and each cabin has its own bathroom and shower.
BEST FOR TRIOS (3 campers)
A Shared Cabin is great for three people! You will have 3 single beds in a cabin shared with fellow campers. This is a great way to make new friends at camp! Trios may also enjoy Rooms in The Lodge. Rooms have 2-3 single beds and a private seating area on the screened-in porch. Your group will either have one large room or two adjacent rooms, depending on availability.
BEST FOR GROUPS (4-6 campers)
We recommend reserving a Private Cabin or The Ranch House for groups. If your group wants the classic camp experience, a Private Cabin is the perfect choice. If your group cringes at the possibility of a spider as a roommate, luxe-ing it up in The Ranch House with Wi-Fi and A/C may be the right fit for you.
