PARENTS
EXCITEMENT. ANTICIPATION.
BUTTERFLIES.
Sure, your daughter might have them before she goes to camp by herself, but here at Skyland Camp & Retreats, we know that parents can get them too. Whether you’re sending your daughter to Girl’s Camp or your family is joining us for a Mini Camp, going to summer camp comes with a lot of questions… and butterflies.
We’re here to help set your mind at ease and assure you that for generations, Skyland has helped campers (and their parents!) adjust to being away from home so they can have the “time of their life”.
SMALL CAMP MEANS
BIG COMMUNICATION
As a Skyland parent, you can expect to be in regular communication with our director and administration team. Before camp, we’ll reach out to learn more about you and your camper and guide you through camp preparation.
Once camp begins, if your daughter is at girls camp, we’ll provide updates about how she is doing and how she is adjusting. And because of Skyland’s small size, we’ll be able to tell you what your camper had for breakfast , how she’s getting along with her cabinmates, and what her favorite activity is. We’re also happy to field calls, texts, or emails from you throughout the summer. You’ll also have access to a password-protected website where you can view photos throughout the camp session, so you can see your daughter with her new friends enjoying all of their favorite camp activities.
