Re-discovering Skyland’s Past

Over the course of our 100+ years of camp, generations of campers have found a home at Skyland Camp for Girls. Many things connect us through time to the generations before us, and to the generations that will follow. We all share warm memories of singing blessings in the dining hall, being sorted into Tallyho or Trossach, and sleeping on the porch of the Main Lodge (a.k.a the Big House) surrounded by friends.

We’ve recently re-discovered this booklet from 1921. It’s a brochure that gives us a glimpse into the Skyland days of the past. Although some things have changed (no more bloomers!), we know that some things never will.

We are still “just crazy about [Skyland]!”
